I have been using Dazzle Dry nail polishes for the past three years. So, if there is someone qualified enough to write an in-depth Dazzle Dry review, itโs me. I was lucky enough to have been gifted a few nail polishes to try and ended up becoming a loyal customer.

Why I Switched to Non-Toxic Nail Polish
A few years ago, I started learning more about the effects of beauty products on our bodies. So, I started researching the ingredients in the daily products we useโfrom skincare and even cleaning products. I was incredibly disappointed, as I learned many of our beloved brands use ingredients that are linked to cancer, disrupt our endocrine system, and have an overall negative impact on our health.
Since then, I have stopped getting dip powder, acrylic, or gel manicures. And completely switched to non-toxic nail polishes.
Better For You and the Environment
Traditional nail polishes often contain harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, toluene, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP), which can be absorbed through your nails and skin. These chemicals have been linked to various health issues, including respiratory problems and even some forms of cancer. Getting acrylic nails or dip powder manicures also has some negative side effects, like dehydrating or weakening the nails.
Not only do non-toxic nail polishes not contain harmful chemicals, but they are usually made with eco-friendly ingredients and packaging, reducing the environmental impact.
It is Affordable
I used to get dip powder manicures, but I live in NYC and a single manicure can cost around $60 without tips. Those biweekly trips to the salon quickly add up. When I realized I could be damaging my health by getting those manicures, it no longer made sense to me.
Even though each Dazzle Dry nail polish bottle is around $20, and even though you might want to purchase their System Bundle (weโll talk about this in a bit), it is still more affordable than paying $120+ per month on manicures.
Kinder to Your Nails
The harsh chemicals in traditional nail polishes can weaken your nails over time, leading to splitting, peeling, and breakage. Most forms of acrylic and gel nails can also dehydrate your nails.
Many non-toxic nail polishes are formulated with vitamins and essential oils that can nourish your nails, promoting healthier and stronger nails in the long run.
It Lasts as Long as Your Favorite Manicure
One of the things I absolutely love about Dazzle Dry nail polish is how long it lasts. For me, it can go up to three weeks without any chipping. I usually remove the nail polish when you start noticing my nail growth. Keep in mind, that I do use their System Bundle, which promotes lacquer adhesion and prevents chipping while strengthening nails.
The Application Process
The thing with Dazzle Dry, is that you do need to get their System Bundle to get the most out of your manicure.
I have tried removing my Dazzle Dry nail polish with regular acetone and it was much harder to remove. Also, when I used a base or top coat from a different brand, it didnโt last as long.

- Nail Prep solution: to strengthen and prime your nails
- Base Coat
- Top Coat
- +Revive: If your nail polish gets too thick to use, apply a few drops of this solution and it will revive it.
I loved that they included The Revive solution because it has extended the lifespan of my DD nail polishes! I feel like Iโm getting my moneyโs worth. This is one of the reasons why I always keep recommending Dazzle Dryโyes, it is pricey, but it is worth it. Your nail polishes will last you a very long time.
How to Use
It doesnโt take me any longer than 30 minutes to paint my nails. I am very impatient, but Dazzle Dry nail polishes dry in under 5 minutes, so I can go on with my day without worrying much about ruining my nails.
Step 1: Use the Nail Prep and scrub each nail with a lint-free pad thoroughly to remove any oils or lotions.
Step 2: Apply two layers to each nail, allowing each coat to dry matte. If the Base Coat is cloudy or jelly-like, stand the bottle in one inch of hot water until the product becomes clear.
Step 3: Apply two layers of Nail Lacquer to each nail, allowing each layer to dry matte.ย
Step 4: Apply one layer of Top Coat to each nail after the Lacquer has dried matte. Wait five minutesโyour manicure is done!
The One Thing I Donโt Like About Dazzle Dry
It can get pricey if you want to purchase multiple colors!
The System Bundle alone is around $77 and each nail polish is $20. Compared to other nail polish brands you can find at any drugstore, Dazzle Dry costs double.
However, non-toxic nail polish is better for your health, and as mentioned before, it lasts long and dries quickly. For me, that is a better investment than getting a gel manicure every couple of weeks. It is an investment in your health and provides me peace of mindโI donโt have to do my nails every week and I know Iโm doing the best I can to be my healthiest self.
