A couple weeks ago, I was invited to a RE:P event here in New York City to celebrate their launch at Ulta! RE:P stands for Real Element Practice and it is a 100% sustainable Korean beauty brand. Yup, you read that right. I was surprised when they told me everything about it is eco-friendly and biodegradable, including the packaging. Keep on reading my review about this brand. Hint: it’s a good one and you’ll want to go to your nearest Ulta ASAP.
To get a couple things off the way before we get into the review… below is why you should trust anything I recommend and why I’m a reliable source of information when it comes to trying out products. Also, for full disclosure, these products were gifted to me, however I am in no obligation of posting anything and all opinions in this article are a 100% mine. There is nothing else I value more than your trust and I would never do anything to jeopardize that.
Before attending the RE:P event I had never heard about this skincare line and had no idea what to expect. As mentioned before Real Elemental Practice is a Korean beauty brand, it is 100% sustainable, clean, cruelty-free, Paraben free & sulfate free.Which in my opinion is revolutionary! They use soy ink and recycled paper in their packaging.
One of my resolutions for this year 2020, is to try to be more sustainable and conscious about my carbon footprint. I’m also an animal lover and try to stick to brands that are cruelty-free! So, you can tell how eager I was about trying this brand. They also try to make things simple, which is why their products are “multitask”. But can also be used with another products from other brands without causing any allergy reactions. Also suitable for sensitive skin.

Organic Cotton Treatment Toning Pad
The thing I love the most about the Organic Cotton Treatment Toning Pads is the sustainability aspect. These cotton pads are biodegradable. Every time I use a cotton pad for toners or makeup wipe I feel guilty because I’m being wasteful.
Wiping my face with the organic cotton pad and then throwing it away without feeling guilty was great! The cotton pad has a soft side and a more textured one, which gently exfoliates your skin. These toning pads are formulated with calendula, camomile, lavender, and Damask rose extracts and tea tree oil. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed & it’s super easy to use. I believe one container contains about 90 pads.
Gentle Face Cleaning Removing Pad
This Cleaning Removing pads were made to remove any impurities, dirt & excess oil. However, they’re not meant to remove any heavy makeup. It’s ideal for after a workout, or after you wake up to remove any overnight skincare products. Which is when I use this product, or when I’m in a rush! It is also refreshing and not oily, which I like.

Bio Fresh Mask with Real Calming Herbs
I’ve only tried the bio fresh mask with real calming herbs twice and I love it! It’s obviously not long enough to say I’ve noticed a huge difference. But I’ll definitely keep using it and will update this post as soon as I notice a different or have a more formulated thought.
It is specifically formulated for ultra sensitive skin and it’s supposed to soothe irritated skin. However, I do not have any problems with my skin (lucky me) and might not be the right person to say if it works or doesn’t. But I have read the reviews on Ulta and I think it’s definitely worth a try! Also, I’ve read it works with acne prone skin, as well!
When applying this mask, it felt very cool & minty, it felt very refreshing. A little definitely goes a looong way, so I feel like this mask will last me for a long time. My skin was very soft afterwards. It is not your typical clay mask that dries on your skin to the point where you can’t make any facial expressions. This one doesn’t completely dry, which is what makes it gentle.
Nutrinature Ultra Nourishing Cream
This RE:P moisturizer is very thick, but it hydrates without leaving a greasy feeling. Which is something I always look for in a moisturizer since I have combination skin and my T-zone is oily. It also works well under makeup and it gets absorbed fairly quick! A little goes a long why and i think this moisturizer will last me for a long time. I’ve been using it twice daily, in the AM and PM. Especially during winter, I felt like it really helped my skin to feel moisturized. But because I have combination skin, I don’t know if I’ll be using this moisturizer during summer as well, since it is very rich.
There are 2 other RE:P products on Ulta that I haven’t had the opportunity to try yet, since they just launched. But I’ll make sure to update this post as soon as I get my hands on them!
