5 Cute Dorm Room Ideas I'm Obsessing Over

Before my freshman year, I was so excited about starting college, I would literally spend hours on Pinterest looking for dorm room decor ideas. And if you’re an incoming freshman, I guess you’re doing the same. You want to have the most aesthetic dorm on campus, so here are 6 tips to achieve that. I’ll be living in a dorm again next year, so I thought I’d find some cute dorm room ideas to have the cutest dorm ever. Idea #1

I completely love this idea, it looks super cure and girly, with a hint of romantic (because of the flowers).It is a simple and easy idea to put something on those plain white walls and add some color. If you don’t feel like buying the flower garland you could always go to a dollar store and buy artificial flowers and just do it yourself. Also, don’t forget to add twinkle lights!

This idea is super girly and super easy to do! It is basically just tapestry and a cute comforter set. Also, if you want an specific quote you could just paint it yourself!

Idea #3

This is probably the easiest idea so far, just put some cute images on the wall. You could put some posters you already have and if you don’t have any, you can look for nice images on magazines (that’s what I always do). Also there is this amazing app I’ve been using lately, it’s called Photage and it’s an app, where you can create collages and order the collage you want. And they print it and send it to you. Another option is to paint some canvases. You can find canvases at target or Marshall’s for as low as $2.99 and it is really fun. A quick tip to make your wall look aesthetic is to stick to an specific color palette. For example here the color palette is blues and yellowy-orange tones. It wouldn’t look this good if you would add a bright green and fuchsia, so try to stick to an specific color palette and your dorm will look aesthetic af.

This is probably my favorite idea so far, I saved the best one for last. And I love it because… *drumrolls* my favorite colors are pink and gold! And it just looks so girly and cute. I’m pretty sure you can find the gold triangle thingies hanging on the wall (I don’t know how to call them) at the party section at a dollar store. I wouldn’t honestly buy the rug just because it’s white and it can get dirty really really fast and chances are that you won’t want to clean it and you also won’t have time to clean it.
