Biker shorts … If I’m being completely honest I still don’t know how I feel about this trend. You have surely seen it all over social media, worn in different ways and now they come in literally every single color, even neon.
Femme Luxe sent me these biker shorts, so I thought I’d give them a try! Which honestly made me go out of my comfort zone, because my legs are something I’m always self conscious about. But, going out of your comfort zone is always good, even if its scary, that’s what life is about – trying new things and overcoming your fears. Even if it’s something as small as just wearing something you would normally not wear.
Anyways, since I was feeling a bit insecure about how my legs looked like, I decided to pair the biker shorts with a long blazer and just a white tee. It is surprising, how basically my accessories completed my outfit. The sunglasses, earrings, necklace and watch made it look complete and a bit classy or more sophisticated? Idk if this would be the right way to describe it. It’s like an office look, but make it sporty and fashion…
To add a bit of contrast, since the blazer was already long, I tucked my shirt under my bra… I wanted to look more trendy and sporty, yet put together, so I added my *drum rolls* FILA sneakers. Someone please stop me from wearing them again, I literally wear them all the time. Most comfortable shoes ever!
I feel like biker shorts are a trend that if not styled carefully, they would ruin your look very fast. I played it safe with these black ones, of course. They can be dressed up and down, which is something I really liked. Will I purchase a pair of biker shorts? I honestly don’t know yet. But I’ll probably go a bit crazy and purchase neon ones? Let’s see what happens.
