Halloween is literally around the corner – less than a week away. If you don’t have a halloween costume yet and also don’t want to spend much on it, you are in the right place. Here are 10 last-minute halloween costumes you can wear again.
Joe Goldberg from “You”
It doesn’t get easier than this – this costume can be literally put together in minutes. We all have a Joe Goldberg outfit laying around in our closet. And if you don’t, maybe you can borrow things from your boyfriend’s closet or a friend’s.
All you need is a jean jacket and a baseball cap. If you want to go the extra mile, strap a baby doll on your chest.
Early 2000’s Paris Hilton
Or any celebrity from the early 2000’s. Everyone was wearing velour tracksuits and they’re making a comeback. If you already have one laying in your closet that you were planning to donate, hold on to it. Wear with a spaghetti straps tank top and you’re set. Bonus points if the pants have words plastered on the butt.
If you don’t have a velour tracksuit already, you are likely to find one at your thrift store, on Poshmark or online. Forever 21 also released a collection with Juicy Couture not too long ago.
PS. If you haven’t downloaded Poshmark yet, do it already. It has literally become my go-to for everything – it’s a way for me to shop more sustainably. And if you use my code “sofiasolis46”, you’ll save $10 on your first purchase!
Ross Geller from “Friends”
Every time I wear tight leather pants, I literally panic because I feel like I’ll get stuck in them like Ross did in Friends. But, as long as your pants are okay quality, that won’t happen because they have a fabric liner inside. This costume is also super basic and cute AF. I’m sure you have leather pants laying around in your closet, as well as, a black button down blouse. Pair this with a plastic dinosaur toy and everyone will know who you’re supposed to be.
You can throw on a coat and wear the same outfit during winter this year.
Rachel Green from “Friends”
Any of Rachel’s outfits from the show can be worn as a Halloween costume. She’s such a fashion icon!
Lara Jean from “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before”
Uncommon opinion here: I didn’t really like the movies – they were too cliche and predictable. But she has such a replicable style. You can easily put together any of her outfits and call it a day. Make sure to carry around a love letter!
Cher from “Clueless”
I am and forever will be obsessed with her style. If you decide to wear her iconic plaid two-piece looks, you can create so many other outfits, either wearing both pieces together or separately. The options are endless!
The devil
We all know this is literally the most basic costume. Which is why it is my go-to every single year – I’m usually not basic but I am the most basic b when it comes to Halloween.
All you need is an all red outfit and the horns, which you can easily find on Amazon for under $15.
Karen from “Mean Girls”
I also included Karen in my other post 10 Easy and Affordable Halloween Costume Ideas for 2021. Her Halloween costume is truly super easy to replicate, as we all have a black dress laying around. You can head to party city or Amazon and find the ears (linked below) and you’re set.
Damian from “Mean Girls”
He’s my favorite character from Mean Girls and if you decide to wear this costume, you’ll be comfortable & warm all night long. Sometimes I wonder how I never got hypothermia during Halloween, when I was strutting across campus wearing nothing but a crop top and skirt… Anyways, this is literally the most comfortable costume you’ll find. You just need a lilac hoodie and black sunglasses.
Marge Simpson from “The Simpsons”
Another last-minute halloween costumes you can wear again is this iconic look from Marge Simpson. You just need a mint green midi dress, which you can totally wear again during the summer. The pearl necklaces can easily be a Christmas tree decoration, which you can – and don’t laugh at me – put on your tree later this year. We call that multipurpose.
Sandy from “Grease”
This is such a good one if you want to match with your significant other, who could be Johny Travolta. Again, you only need leather pants, a statement belt, a leather jacket and the rest is hair & makeup.
Harry Styles look from the Met Gala
Such an iconic, yet easy look. All you need is a black tank top, black pleated pants, and a see-though mesh-like black blouse. The best thing is, you can wear this again all year long.
PS. A good pair of black straight leg pants are definitely worth investing in, so I linked some below.
Holly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s
All you need is a white t-shirt dress, or a white bathrobe or white slip dress. And eye sleeping mask.
Elle Woods from Legally Blond
An all pink outfit will suffice for this. Pair that with some Elle Woods attitude and you’re ready to slay.
The Matrix
Literally just go for an all leather black look and accessorize. Bonus points if you have a leather trench coat. You can 100% wear this last-minute halloween costume again and call it NYC street style. I literally wore an all black outfit with a leather trench coat and combat boots and my ex boyfriend told me I looked like the Matrix – so go for it at your own risk. For accessorizing, just add sunglasses.
And that’s it for last-minute halloween costumes you can wear again. If you decided to wear one of these costumes, tag me on your IG photos (@sofiasolisb) or Tik Tok videos (@ssofiasolis), I’d love to hype you up & see how you styled the costume!
