Best Time to Visit Fort Lauderdale
- Peak season (December–April): Beautiful weather but higher prices and bigger crowds. A lot of people from other states come to Florida to escape the cold (myself included), which can raise the prices of hotels, long-term rentals, car rentals, etc. However, it is totally worth it to escape the cold for at least a few days.
- Off-season (June–September): Hotter and more humid, but fewer tourists and better deals on hotels. Keep in mind this is summertime and it tends to rain a lot and it gets extremely hot.
- Shoulder season (May & October–November): The sweet spot—pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and good hotel rates.
