Affordable lipsticks for this cold winter!

Being broke or just not wanting to spend a lot of money on Lipsticks shouldn’t keep us from looking gorgeous all day every day. I found 4 affordable lipsticks that I love and they’re perfect for this winter! With that being said, let’s move on to the post!

Colour pop

My favourite matte lipsticks are from Colour pop. I love it because it is affordable, longlasting and kiss-proof! I personally think that these lipsticks are kinda drying and feel powdery when you first put them on, but they’re weightless and have a rich (super rich) pigmentation. So it depends on what’s more important for you. But I am a huge fan and they have so many colours to choose from (68 to be exact)!

Hardcandy (Metallic mousse)

I honestly was disappointed when I first purchased this brand, I didn’t like the wand or applicator it came with and when I put it on my lips it feels sticky. They didn’t feel dry but the colours faded REALLY fast. And it isn’t kiss-proof either. I couldn’t even drink water or eat something without leaving stains EVERYWHERE, which was really annoying because I love to eat. I still use the ones I have because I like the colours but would I buy it again? Probably not. I really wished this product was better cause I loved the packaging and it was unique.

NYX

I’m in love with these affordable lipsticks! They are weightless, matte, they don’t feel dry on my lips and they’re long lasting! The Suede feels softer and more creamy and hydrating, while the Lingerie one feels kinda dry. But the pigmentation on both is amazing. They are really easy to put on, they don’t leave a sticky feeling and they dry relatively fast. And they are relatively kiss-proof.

Black Radiance

This is another cheap alternative if you want a matte lipstick. I love the vibrant and strong colours offered by this brand. The applicator and tube are nice as well. The only thing I don’t like is that when it is starting to come off or when I eat something it feels like it’s peeling off or something. It is relatively longlasting and hydrating. I felt my lips a bit dry but that is normal when wearing matte lipsticks. It is kiss-proof but it isn’t at the same time. When I ate, it came off really fast leaving the sensation of having breadcrumbs all over my lips, it feels like it’s peeling off. But I really love it in general!

Maybelline

This Vivid Matte Liquid lipstick leaves a velvet feeling and the pigmentation is amazing! Even though it isn’t kiss-proof it doesn’t leave your lips feeling dry, that is why I think it is perfect for winter. And depending on the amount of lipstick you apply, it can be used as a lip stain as well. It is as long-lasting as a non-kiss-proof lipstick can be.
