Mother’s Day: Gift Ideas She Will Love

I just realized Mother’s Day is in a little over a month and started freaking out! I always whether plan months in advance or completely forget important dates, there is no in between. Anyways, with this special day being kinda close I decided to go ahead and get started with the gift guides! Now, we all know there is a difference between getting your mom a gift and a good gift. So,  if you’re stuck for inspiration, and have no idea where to start, I got you. Flowers & Chocolates 

This is a huge NO or a somewhat no, depends on the type of mom (I guess?). But, I feel like flowers and chocolates are more add-ons and not gifts themselves. Yes, they’re cute but they are not enough. Especially, not enough for someone as special as your mom. (this also applies to coffee mugs!).

These are obviously classics and look so cute and taste yummy, but before you decide to place an order online for a flower or edible arrangement, think twice. Sure, flowers and chocolates are cute details, but that’s all they are, just details. So, you could get flowers or chocolates but with something else and it will for sure make up for the perfect gift!

When it comes to selecting flowers, try to make it as personal as possible. Think about what your mother’s favourite kind of flower is. Or think about her favorite color and start there. Because, as said before, flowers are kinda basic, so try to spice it up by adding some personal details. 

Spa Day

Buying your mother a treatment or day at the spa is a fantastic way of showing her how much you appreciate her. It’s also a great way for her to just relax for an entire day!

Spa days come in all sorts of shapes and sizes so before you book your mom in for some pampering, think about what would suit her best. Would she enjoy going away for a weekend? Would she prefer a long massage or get more out of some beauty treatments? Would she enjoy taking you along so you can spend some quality time together, or would she rather enjoy the experience alone? All of these are important things to consider in order to make the experience truly special for her.

A New Experience

Some mothers like traditional gifts whereas others enjoy something a little more left-field. If your mother is the adventurous type or you want to encourage her to get out a bit more, why not buy her an experience as a gift?
