Believe it or not, I have like 2 or 3 more layers you can’t see… It was the coldest day here in NYC, but I kept telling myself “How bad can it be?”. Well, it was really bad, after like 5 minutes of taking pictures I couldn’t feel my hands and I was wondering if my nose was still there. It was about 9 degrees Fahrenheit and about -11 Celsius. Without a dubt that’s the coldest I’ve ever felt in my whole life! But that didn’t stop me from taking pictures… Even if most of them are me struggling to keep my hair in place, because it was windy AF.

The initial idea, was to just walk to the place where we were going to take the pictures and then I’d take my big black coat off. But, it was way too cold for me to do that. So, I ended up including my big puffy coat with the outfit! If I’m being honest, I feel like a walking cloud when I wear that jacket, BUT it’s so warm and cozy!
Anyways, I decided to wear faux leather leggings, because of their shininess and because they can give each outfit that edgy touch. When you think your outfit looks too simple or boring, add black faux leather leggings!
I just put on a white shirt, to keep it from being too much. Since, I was already wearing faux leather leggings and an animal print jacket… I’m also wearing a HEAT shirt underneath and a cardigan on top of the shirt… (Things you have to do when it’s freezing cold).
And for the shoes, I just wore these platform, lace-up booties, I bought in Peru. I try finding similar ones, but couldn’t quite find one that was similar enough, so I linked the Dr. Martens. I initially was just going to wear my FILA dad sneakers, but I’m literally ALWAYS wearing those (they’re too comfy), so I decided to change up things a little bit.
Also, fun fact: I was still carrying my FILA sneakers in my bag, just in case the floor was too icy and I had to change shoes… #bloggersreality.
