This was actually a project for one of my classes last semester after NY fashion week. We had to go through the fashion shows and predict a trend for spring/summer 2020, and I predicted monochrome! I know this is and has been a low-key trend for some months now, but it hasn’t reached the masses yet. I came to this conclusion after seeing a bunch of monochrome looks in the runway shows from Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Balmain, etc.
