I’m sure most of us just walk by the men’s section without even looking at it. And while that’s perfectly okay, you’re missing out. Whenever I go shopping, whether it is SoHo or a thrift store, I always make sure to check out the men’s section. The men’s clothing is cheaper & super comfy. And here’s 5 reasons why you should shop at the men’s section more often.

Men’s clothing is cheaper

This highly depends on where you shop, but normally mens clothing is cheaper than the clothes on the women’s section. A simple white t-shirt on the women’s section can be $25, while one in the men’s section is $15 and it’s almost identical.

Also, I swear by the men’s section at Target! You can get a 6 pack of Hanes white T-shirts for only $24.99 and find some cute band tees!

If you like thrift shopping always check out the mens section. You can find cuter things there, including comfy band tees, hoodies and blazers!

Comfy T-Shirts and sweatshirts

Men seem to have really cool t-shirts and sweatshirts, and although they might be a bit big, that just adds to their appeal. Embrace the “oversized everything” trend. You can borrow them from your boyfriend’s, husband’s or dad’s wardrobe. Or buy some of your own from somewhere.

Ultimately, shopping on the men’s section will add some variety to your closet. While all of your friends wear similar tops and sweatshirts, you can be wearing a cute oversized mens wear!

I just think that’s so funny! Boyfriend jeans? Button up shirts? Oversized sweatshirts? Yup, all of those trends were inspired by menswear. And the irony is that while you can shop some boyfriends jeans form $100, you can literally buy some guys jeans a few sizes smaller for $20? And the same goes with button up shirts and every other trend inspired by menswear. So, why pay so much money for something you can find at the mens section for way less? Just get creative!
