How to make a matcha bubble tea
1. Make tapioca balls
This is the part that I was intimidated about, however, it is pretty straightforward. You can also opt to follow the directions on the packaging.
Add water to a pot and let it boil. Then, add the tapioca balls, cover the pot, and let them cook for a few minutes. Stir them occasionally. Once theyβre ready, strain the tapioca balls.
Set aside to cool slightly. The tapioca balls are ready when theyβre warm but not hot.
2. Whisk your matcha
Mix a tablespoon of matcha with filtered water. Use half a cup of water. And whisk. If you donβt have a whisker, you can just cover the cup and shake. Pretend you are a bartender and shake away.

Pop in anΒ extra wide strawΒ and make sure to swirl to mix all the layers together before drinking.
